Mudita Games and RedDeer.Games have finally announced the release date for their upcoming title Pilo and the Holobook. This cozy adventure game will be coming out on 10th April on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam. Not only that, the team has released a new demo for Switch where you can start the first 40 minutes of your journey.

Pilo and the Holobook takes players on a journey through XOP-624, a planetary system that was once full of life but now stands mysteriously abandoned. As Pilo, a curious little fox, you receive a powerful new invention from the Professor. The Technomantic Holobook is designed to record discoveries, and with it in hand, you set out to explore the unknown.

With each new planet, you will find traces of lost civilizations and strange life forms waiting to be cataloged. The deeper you go, the more you realize there is more to this system than meets the eye. Before long, an incredible secret will begin to reveal itself.

The Nintendo Switch demo is just as long as the Steam version, letting players explore the professor’s base and travel to a desert planet. After navigating the sands, they’ll uncover what lies beneath the dunes and the events that brought this civilization to ruin.
