The dancer is currently touring the UK in his own headline show, The Last Dance, which he has previously said will be his last tour
Giovanni Pernice has been seen answering a question he’s been asked a ‘million times over’ as he spoke about being able to celebrate ‘all the women out there’.
The dancer is currently touring the UK in his own headline show, The Last Dance, which he has previously said will be his last tour – for now, having headed out across the country with his own show for a number of years in a row.
The tour comes after Giovanni wasn’t invited to take part in the last series of Strictly Come Dancing after an investigation into his behaviour on the show was conducted before he was cleared of the most serious allegations.
The BBC apologised to Sherlock star Amanda Abbington as they upheld some of her complaints against her former dance partner during the 2023 series.
Giovanni then went on to be crowned the winner of the Italian version of the BBC One dance contest and America’s Dancing with the Stars alongside Bianca following the show’s final back in December.
As well as performing in his own tour, Giovanni has also remained commited to teaching others how to dance with his Ballando dance classes. With his shows taking him all over the country, the Italian star has confirmed he will be holding a virtual calss to celebrate ‘all women’ on International Women’s Day in March.
Sharing a video to his Instagram page, he wrote in the caption: “‘Giovanni, how do I join your free online class on the 8th March?’The question I have been asked a hundred million times over last few days [crying laughing emoji].
“So it’s very simple – you just need to go to the normal booking pages that you book my @ballando_dance classes on, and the link is in the bio there. Once you have completed your registration, you will automatically get sent a link to join the online class. You then just click the link when the class starts (11am 8th March). Easy peasy … Can’t wait to see you all there to celebrate International Women’s Day!”
He also said in the clip: “As I’ve said before, I want to do this to celebrate all my fantastic women out there. But this class is not only just for women, it’s also for men, it’s for everybody!”
