‘Dangerous’ dog found after major search involving national police helicopter

Thames Valley Police said the dog, which was described as large and dark brown, was on the loose in the Adderbury area near Banbury earlier this afternoon (Monday, March 10).
This came after it was seen attacking a deer near Oxford Road.

Members of the public were warned to not approach the dog and to call 999 if they saw it.
The force has now confirmed that the dog and its owner have been located.
Thames Valley Police also confirmed an investigation is ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: “There were no further injuries to the public or animals following this incident.
“We’d like to thank the public for their help.”
